IRP : OMERO embedding and Optimisation of Biom3d, an image analysis tool using deep-learning networks

Institute

iGRED, Clermont-Ferrand, France

Research thematic

Chromatin and nuclear dynamics

Research

My research focuses on developing standardized, FAIR-compliant workflows for bioimage data handling from acquisition and storage to analysis. Using OMERO as a data management platform, integrated with HPC resources at our data center, I develop methods of image analysis on plant nuclei microscopy datasets to study chromatin and nuclear dynamics in plants. Our recent developments focused on a reproducible 3D semantic segmentation and robust nuclear morphology analysis within an all-in-one bioimaging environment called biom3d, a new framework based on deep-learning architecture.
